I’ve lived in and around Parkdale for 25 years and have been taking pictures of Queen St W for the last ten years. I work primarily as a graphic designer but I have taken a lot of pictures.
¶ For the first half of the decade I posted short photo essays here at my personal site. Since then I’ve been posting to Flickr and now Tumblr.
¶ Over the years I’ve settled on a few subjects, mostly. Pictures of storefronts have evolved to include pictures of building faces and entire city blocks. I also like to take pictures of litter and cats.
¶ I’m picky about my cameras but I’m not a gear head or a pixel junkie. I use a Panasonic DMC-LX3 and some times an iPhone as everyday cameras and a Nikon D7000 (and only a few lenses) for city blocks and cats.
¶ Back in the day I loved my Coolpix 990.
