Queen at Abell St | December 2008
The zebra striped facade of the wacky condo marketing centre designed by Will Alsop Associates became a memorable landmark. It was the view you saw when you stepped out of the newly renovated Drake Hotel.
In 2008 the transit shelter was replaced. This is one of the spots where the new transit shelters really work well.
More recently, with the condo construction looming behind, May 2010:
The building is now continually repurposed for new condos, with new supergraphics slapped on willy-nilly (January 2011):
